XCStrings Translator is available on the Mac App Store and via Homebrew.

System Requirements#

  • macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later
  • Xcode 15.0 or later (for .xcstrings file support)
  • An API key from OpenAI or Anthropic (Claude)

Mac App Store#

The easiest way to install XCStrings Translator:

Homebrew#

If you prefer Homebrew:

brew install --cask xcstrings-translator

Security#

XCStrings Translator is sandboxed and notarized by Apple. Your translations and API keys never leave your machine except to communicate directly with your chosen AI provider.
